I think "addicted" is a word thrown around far too easily. Simply craving something, wanting to do it, does not make you "addicted". Otherwise, by the same criteria chocolate, food, candy, Television, and endless other things fall under the category of "addictive". LOL, actually now that I think about it, more people are "addicted" to television, and often more strongly, than marijuana.

Im mentally addicted now, cuz i cant stand spending a day without weed.

One reason is cuz i have not gone a day without weed for like 6 months.

I can stop, temporarely, but i will freak the fuck out if i spend a whole week without it. that would be way too hard for me. I suppose i could do it if i had a motivation, like 500 dollars of weed, but no less.

    It's mentally addicting, yes.

I have friends who are on probation, and get drug testing every 21 days. They don't quit smoking. They smoke weed up until like ten days before there test, and most of the time, they end up smoking after that and just buying ready-clean.

And I'll tell myself that I don't want to throw any money on weed for a few days, and if I don't smoke, then I don't smoke....but then I'll be out and end up buying weed or throwing down on a blunt, then afterward I'll be like "Damn, I shouldn't have done that."

It's mentally addicting in that sense.

Yeah, it's addictive already. It feels like once the THC entered my body it took over. I love to have it and I love the plant and have respect for it and wanna grow it and create a marijuana family xD.

Physically addicting? No. I've never gotten the shakes. Maybe one or two restless nights, but that's because I've grown used to the indica sleepyness.

Psychologically addicting? Maybe. In the same way sex and oreos are addicting. Especially, all three, at the same time. Man, that's like a fungasm.

Habit-forming? Hell yeah. I don't think anyone's here to deny that.

Is it just me, or do you always talk about quitting or cutting back right after you've finished smoking. Then a few hours later, you're calling your dealer.

Well, I smoked a joint with my girlfriend when I was 16, but only smoked pot twice more for the next two years.
