Mexico is doing the right thing. Here in america we have over 2 million people in prison. Most for small amounts of drugs in their possession.

with drugs being illegal we have access to them 24/7. Lets stop turining addicts into criminals and stop filling our jails up with users.
as for turning people into addicts? the only people who do drugs are people who do drugs. america is full of drugs and millions and millions of people never touch them. with legal drugs it will mean that people who want to get help can do so without being scared and arrested....etc etc.
You see......, here in america its not so much that we care that you become hooked on drugs as much as we care about who's drugs you become addicted to. Tobacco, alcohol, pharmacueticals, caffeine, etc etc.
Cocaine deaths = 145
Heroin deaths = 250
tobacco deaths = 340,000-430,000
alcohol deaths(not including 50% of all highway deaths and 65% of all murders are committed by those on booze) = 100,000+
legal drugs = 150,000
Caffeine = 10,000
Asprin deaths = 1000-5000
