I wish they made them in a higher wattage...I need all the lumens I can get with the space i have for bulbs, so i can't afford to take out a 85 watt CFL and replace it with a 23watt....

Alright people lets get crazy.. TiO2 is a readily available product.. it sells on ebay for $5 per POUND at 99% pure..

Wikipedia says:

Titanium dioxide is thus added to paints, cements, windows, tiles, or other products for sterilizing, deodorizing and anti-fouling properties and is also used as a hydrolysis catalyst. As TiO2 is exposed to UV light, it becomes increasingly hydrophilic, thus it can be used for anti-fogging coatings or self-cleaning windows. TiO2 incorporated into outdoor building materials can substantially reduce concentrations of airborne pollutants such as volatile organic compounds and NOx.

Now some genius figured out if you put it on a light bulb that emits UV light.. and charge 2x as much..

Ok so you think there is more to it?? I bet not.. TiO2 is also used in sunblock lots because it ABSORBS UV light (and makes O3) and reflects other spectrums so here is your hint.. that high ass temp on the cfl is probably due to the coating and will in effect be due to the light reflected back into the tube by the coating.

My proposal? Buy a pound of this stuff and sprinkle it on the floor of your grow room.. uv light should activate it and it should keep your place smelling good as it gets.
