I recently did a name server update on hundreds of domains ... this alone didn't cause any noteable problems...

However, I also updated the location of the name servers themselves ... that's causing some problems, such as with cannabinoid.com

Please let me know if the problem is still continuing.

"Secure mode" at Marihemp was designed to better protect one's password over open networks, such as in a college dorm, wifi connection, etc...

It doesn't encrypt everything and it doesn't hide IPs ... even on a SSL connection, the IP can be logged; URL possibly sniffed out by others, if one is using an "open" network.

vBulletin for as sophisticated as it is, still doesn't support (and probably never will) any simple way to send username / password only over SSL ... with vBulletin it's all SSL or all plaintext ... problem with that is using SSL for everything is it's pointless for publicly viewable data; unnecessarily increases server load for no real benefit.

On a related note, vBulletin software still doesn't support image attachments in PMs, Marihemp's does. PM image attachments is one of those things I wish vBulletin would add.

Finally, you may want to try the following if running Windows XP.

1. Close all web browsers.

2. Click Start, then on Run...

3. Enter the following in the blank and press enter:

ipconfig /flushdns

That will pop up a dos window for a brief moment and then close - that's normal; Ipconfig is a built-in utility in Windows XP.

Hope this helps.

I hope that it's just a technical issue, but it freaks me out and makes me think that the feds are logging ip addys. Also,I wonder if posts here are automatically secure or not, since there ain't no choice for secure mode authentication. I think that I'm gonna invest in one of them usb sticks with a gig of memory, and utilize a secure anonymizer program on it,especially because of my dsl connection, which no longer Rating: 5
