hierarchy of smoking devices?
i can answer that... the faster you pull, the faster the smoke is going to get into your throat and the faster your throat gets that burn in it makes the exhale come quicker.... so burning it slowly can build up more smoke before it gets to your mouth
(talking about a bong i presume)pixel Reviewed by pixel on . hierarchy of smoking devices? can someone who actually knows the answer please explain why certain devices are better than others for smoking weed? i mean theoretically it's all just marijuana smoke going in and out of your lungs, what makes a certain device get one "SO STONED" vs. a device getting one "kinda high" or not high at all. i dont deny that it's true because i notice that i get shorter and less intense highs off of my bowl compared to my bong, and i use less weed in the process too... but what makes it that Rating: 5

that doesnt make sense. unless water cotains harmful chemicals how could it make the smoke worse for you?

hate to burst your weed bubble there slipknot, but your wrong...the only difference between a pipe and a bong is that the smoke goes through water. the water filters out some of the cannabinoids in the smoke. so to review...bongs just clean out some shit in the smoke thats not too good for you.

never mind i found it....

Disappointingly, waterpipes performed uniformly worse than the unfiltered joint. The least bad waterpipe, the bong, produced 30% more tar per cannabinoids than the unfiltered joint. Ironically, the pipe with the electric mixer scored by far the worst of any device. This suggests that water filtration is actually counterproductive, apparently because water tends to absorb THC more readily than noxious tars. Like the waterpipes, the cigarette filter also performed worse than the unfiltered joint, by about 30%. Researchers speculate this is because cannabinoids are exceptionally sticky and adhere to other solids. Hence, any filtration system that picks up particulates is likely also to screen out cannabinoids.

THC doesnt stick to water..and last time i checked water wasnt a solid? =/

you'd be suprised how much you 'know' about weed, is in fact not true.... don't take my word for what i said, take norml's word for what they said... thc isn't water soulable, that doesn't mean some won't get stuck in the water, just like acetomenophin isn't water soulable, but if you use the extraction method for vicodins you can bet your ass there's atleast still a little bit more chemical you want out of the vicodin, stuck to the acetomenophin.... tell me why NORML would put out false information, when they only aim to legalize weed?
