Recommend a good cool mist humidifier plz

hey guys. I bought this "cool mist humidifier" a few days ago.

400w MH
temp 85-92F RH 22-24 {before humidifier}
temp 80-83F RH 24-29 {after humidifier}

Its cooling the closet off a bit, which is good. But I have not much change in the RH. Im reading I need at least 50 RH. My humidifier says you are not suppost to see a mist comming out. Soooo... I think this is crap :dance:

Can anyone recommend a good compact inexpensive "cool mist humidifier" one that spits out lots of mist. I need something that will cool the room more and raise RH much more. {assumming this is what I should get}

Any suggestion

This is taking me on another google journey :}

But, man the price.... ugh. This seems a bit overkill. But then again, I have not used one. These guys cover 2000 sq ft about. im working with around 50sq ft.

Do u know of something that will do the job that is more for a closet 4Lx2wx6h?

p.s. I have a passive cooling at the moment. squirl cage running constantly 465cfm. hooked to dryer hose which is hooked to one end of my econo cool reflector. Other end of reflector is open.

Why so much humidity anyway? Just curious.

Trichomes develop better under low humidity conditions.

why would you want to raise the humidity any way ? when you bud them that is BAD...then what are you gonna do about the temps? Is an air intake comming from a main room ? An A/C in the room with a humidafire would be ok , then you can turn it off for flowering and the A/C will keep it cooler, the humidity only has to be around 40-60 . 40 or lower for flowering though or you will get mold...I did same as you but I bought a misting system first grow...saved a couple buds off 1 plant out of 6 ...what a waste ...MOLD city and it can happen quick to...do what you would like but i did that and messed up a lot of smoke I had mine at 75 for vegg and like 60 for flower and i fucked up ,, the plants was 4 foot tall and leaning from the HUGE buds that i fucked up....I cried...ALOT...lol KEEP IT AS DRY AS POSSIBLE WHEN FLOWERING....ask Zandor..lol

P.S. the dryer it is when flowering the more resin build up on the buds to keep them moist so they dont dry out .....trick the plant...play GOD

and Zandor, I saw the smaller version, but alas its still out of my price range

I wanted higher humidity because in my readings on boards, I found that you should have humidity high as in over 50 for veg. and low like u said for flower.

My temps are around 85F now with RH of 29.

I thought this was a bad situation for my plants. This is my first grow, so im trying to lock down my cab properly. I wanted to shoot for 76F and RH 50.
Thats why I wanted to raise humidity.

But If you guys say, my temps and RH will be fine for veg and flower, then ill not get anything. My air intake is from a main room, non airconditioned. Ambient main room temp is only 8 degrees cooler than in my Cab. and RH in main room is 33.

Im just a bit confused. :stoned: Can u guys tell me the temps and RH I should shoot for in VEG and in FLOWER.

p.s. I only wanted high humidity because I thought I needed it for veg. and I also thought this would help cool my room down. But should i just return the humidifier and get a tiny air conditioner?

I would, if you can keep the main room 5 degrees cooler with a small A/C it will lower you grow box temp... it would be more stable this way

im researching what it was now, but all i can say is it was grey, fast, lots of legs, and two nice sized antanai on its head. also the body was longer thatn wide. DOH
