pale color

hi,
my friend has two plant in the same container and are about 3 week old or so.
one has germinated few days before the other. the color of the older one is not as green as the younger one, the color of the younger one is more dark green, while the older one is more light green, they both seem healthy and new leafs are comming up.
they are under two CFL, 42 W each (approx 400w of normal bulb), with a fan blowing next to them.
any suggestions,

sounds good so far... it is not a GREAT idea to grow two plants in the same pot.. but you can do it and you can be successful..
