Thanks for the kind words JaSeed...
Many of your SCRoGs have been wallpapers in my computers... no kiddin'.

As to the "twisties"... Haha!
Funny you say that... just yesterday I started doing that...

My impressions so far?
As you said... much easier than weaving... and I suspect, much easier to make "corrections" if you don't like where a branch is placed or something.

I'm wondering something very similar....

jAseed... when you top.... let's say two new tops are coming out... about how much do you wait before topping those new ones?

Seasoned vet... I'm going to try and explain what I do regarding topping:::

You know the very top of a plant? The one that has those "tender" new growths... very small... leaves still "curled up" waiting to grow unfolded...
I try and move out of the way the leaves that are clearly there (the small ones)... then cut just above them.

Above them you'll see what's about to become small "curled up" leaves, but they're not quite there yet. So I chop that off...

I, personally, use a nifty "scissor" I got at some point... sharp edges... short blades... not for big branches... just for tender stuff like that. I think the manufacturer is "Fisk" or something.

But don't fret too much about it... I mean, if I remember correctly, Mand tops with here fingernails... and she prefers to call it " pinchin' " I believe. And her grows are text book!

I've found out that the best thing about this hobby is the "experimentation"... just, try different things and checking out the results.

So, just try it out...

Best to all, thanks sVet and JaS,
