Will Animal Cruelty Ever Stop?

Good evening everyone

I was just thinking, (after just watching a video of one of the most disturbing cases of animal cruelty in my life...ill spare you the details) do you think cruelty to animals will ever stop?
Do you think people will realise they are abusing the power they have, in such a pointless way?

Humans can no longer respect other humans let alone creatures that they see as lower than themselves.
I honestly don't things in the world are going to get any better for any living thing.....I figure this is the beginning of the end.....the whole world is taking a turn for the worse and people are becoming more and more selfish by the day.

Just thought id see if anyone has any hope in humankind anymore? And also more to the point....if animals will ever be treated with the respect they deserve??

Blame the Chinese, they are the ones who don't have any laws against it. I've seen the videos too. They take the animals tails then smack them against the ground, then skin them alive.

no honestly, this served NO purpose! It's wasnt even like they were using the fur or for food or anything....simply to entertain.....I would post the vid but I really dont think it would be appreciated....

no it will not...but if enough people protest and boycott the large scale factory farmers they will go out of business or have to downsize significantly because of lack of demand. but yeah i doubt we will ever have that many people. who knows.

No it won't.We'll have to learn to stop killing each other before we can stop any sort of cruelty towards animals.

i am an avid hunter and fisherman, but am against the cruelty used on many farms...you cant grow an animal...terrible...

im sick of these little kids throwing their cats around, and kicking dogs....so fuckin rude

The place I was, where I found the link to the above mentioned video had screen shots of a cat in a cage being covered in zippo fluid then set on fire....
a cat was put in a bath had it's tail, ears and a paw cut off....was cut up a bit more and then strung up by some chord with a cd attached like some fucking dream catcher or somthing....
But the video was the worst by far!!!!! I can't actually stop thinking about it....lol it has really disturbed me....

do you think predators will ever realize they're killing a life form, and find way to eat/provide nutrients without harming another life-being... the answer to both questions is probably no.

I was watching tv once, this program called Cops Uncut. These two feds pulled over this family because there had been a robbery in the area. They stopped and went to talk to the officers, the family dog, a border colly or something jumped out waging its tail, friendly approached one of the feds and the guy freaked and blew the dogs head open with a shotgun. Turned out the family was completely innocent and the feds gave them a plastic bag to take their dog home in.

but on a funnyier note. anyone seen the chappele show episode where the cops bust in the white guys house and shoot the dog in the head for no
reason ofcourse it wasnt real but very funny
