We have become too smart for our earth. So we proliferate and take over our country.

As "tribes" and "peoples" grew larger and smarter they needed some way to regulate all of them on one level. Make a system of values, a system of worth. Thus the concept of religion and money is started (im talking in theory here).

Had the people remained as seperate tribes yes there would be less advancement of knowledge because they do not interact as conglomerate of minds (thats the one thing I do like about our system is that knowledge can be shared and built upon across the world making advacements in medicine, observation, technology etc. very fast) BUT THEERE WOULD BE NO OVER WHELMING DESIRE FOR MONEY.

With no desire for money and no millions of people in one area there would be no desire to rule for money (like most congressmen only wanting to be elected for the money and benefits, concentrating during their terms not on the pressing issues at hand but instead on how they will be re-elected next term), there would be no desire to rule for the sake of being able to rule millions of people because people stil live in small groups. We would become sustinance farmers and survivors....only making enough for what we need, not taking any more.

That becomes part of my beleif system of how things should work. I do not beleive in Judiasm (my parents are both 100% Jewish, but I do not consider myself Jewish), I do not beleive in Christianity (I dont know much else about other religions), but I do know that I beleive that there is way things are SUPPOSED to be, and a way they are now. And I beleive that they are two drastically different things. One small example not on that scale ^^ is meat. I do not eat meat becasue the way animals are born to be killed, fattened with no regard to their health and well being just to be killed to fill the supermarkets makes me sick. That is not the way it should be and thus I appose it. That is the closest thing to my religion: What I beleive my God intended, and what it is now. Why should anyone tell me that THIS is what GOD wanted? no one knows what or who God even is, how do they have the right? but thats a whole different rant....

Getting back to the main issue...without this corruption of money and power the leaders could actually deal with issues that need to be adressed and not have to deal with their "reputation," "their next election" or confining themselves and ideals to a parties values. There needs to be some serious changes.

And this is how I beleive the United States and most world powers will come to fall. Just as the world cycles so does government. We will realize that this is not the way we should be living. The environment will be destroyed and will need to be rebuilt or we will die. The government will be so money hungry and filled with curropt power and money hungry fiends that it will collapse and some other form of government (who knows what) will arise from its ashes. And so shall society progress.

OK....read it if you have the patience, but thats what I beleive. Yes i know its just a stoner rambling, but why is it wrong? why not? It makes sense.

(Yes i realize there would be no society, and it does seem natural for our species to just give birth and give birth until we cannot anymore, but I'm saying thats not right and with sustainable environmental use, not the surplus and factory farming we have now, we would not be able to support 6 BILLION people.) we are doomed inevitably

The problem isn't too many people fucking (literally)... the problem is the distribution and production capabilities.

If we develop better of these, the Earth can (and will) support much more people... something around 20-30 billion people, if I remember the number correctly.

There's sufficient solar power for the world's needs... but we don't have the cheap/good tech to harvest it. Same goes for or food supplies.

do you realize that this "theoretical world that has no concept or idea of money" would suck ass... money is what drives technology, do you think ford would've bothered to churn out cars off a factory line if he wasn't going to get any money out of it? do you think anybody would even bother to have manufactured the lightbulb if it were free labor and free to use? basically, what i'm saying is there would be nothing available to drive society and motivate them to progress... i think the idea of money or "exchange" is innate in culture.. if there were no drive or motivation (i.e. money) we'd be living in the stoneage making your own tools and gardening outside one of your own self-built houses. money or trade or exchange is necessary and i wouldn't have it any other way...

newsflash #2... most scientists agree that solar power will never be a viable solution to our energy needs... solar panels that harvest energy from the sun inadvertantly affect surrounding whether environments because the energy that was formerly used to "heat" the ground giving us warmth would instead be stored as energy... there was a figure saying that a solar field (full of solar panels to collect energy) the size of a couple of miles in diameter would change the weather for an entire area the size of Texas (e.g. making texas go from hot weather cold weather)

I beleve this world is being mislead. Call it overpopulation, but I call it society. Ignorance is my belief why there's problems. Why should you believe that mankind is to come crashing down? Is it because your belief in an entity or 'higher-being' that will judge our demise? Perhaps if the world could become informed to take a hard look at themselves, things wouldn't be so bad. Peoples minds would open to the world around them. And stop pretending so much that they're productive when really they're just mind controlled. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but it sounds to me like you're saying that the world's destruction will be caused by mans intelligence. I thnk intelligence can be used in two ways. Positive and negative.

We can choose to "protect" mankind from whatever disaster we think would emerge from the iradication of religions.

We can bring down the entity that's controlling it. The government. Without government would come chaos. But as we recall, the World was formed in the beginning, by nothing else, but chaos. Planets crashing, extreme heats and cools, rock formations, star explosions.
