personally
when i was smoking
i was smokin every day for like a few months
and i hated it
i barely got buzzed
and i was always burnt out
so i stopped for a week
and now when i toke its on the weekends.

What a coincidence, i too am taking today off, not out of choice but because my dealer wasnt at school today. I find the fact that i have no weed, really helps with the addiction. I have a mad headache from this shit day, and I probably wont get much sleep tonight, but I guess it will be "good" for me.
Just gather up what ever self control you have and dont smoke, its not that hard, just dont sit around thinking about how much you wanna smoke.

My best advice would be "find something else to do". Sitting on a cannabis message board when you're trying not to smoke is just going to keep your mind ON smoking.
Go for a run/walk/hike or something, read a book, spend time with your family...anything that you might not do if you were high.

i agree. i never had problems with this because i told myself "in the begining" that when i ran out, couldnt bake, dealer was on vacation etc. that i wouldnt let it bother me. but it always does to different extents at times. just when u have a craving, make some tea, or coffee whatever your cup is. and if you have trouble sleeping, pick poppy flowers and the greens around them and brew that into your regular tea(havnt tried coffee) b4 u go to bed and nighty night. And remember, herb isnt going anywhere.
