WTF is everybody talking about? A roach is the last little bit of the joint that's left over after you've smoked it. How the hell do you put it in the joint, especially before rolling it. Am I missing something here??

"roach" can also refer to a little rolled up piece of cardboard in the mouth end of the doob used to keep it open and prevent weed from being sucked through. That's what you're missing.

Yeah in the UK they usually put a small paper filter in it. I do this too (even though I'm from Minnesota) sometimes because then you don't have to hold on to that tiny little roach. It's like a regular cigarette. The filter not only keeps tobacco from coming into your mouth, but it takes your fingers away from the heat.

I sometimes get bits of baccy and herb go in my mouth when I take a hit. Theres an easy way to solve this - get a piece of card thats about 1cm long, and roughly the same width as the roach. Then fold it together so you have something that looks like this terrible drawing -

Squish it together and shove it up the roach so it looks like a couple of 'M's together, and that stops any bits from going in your mouth.

I dont even bother, not to brag, but my joints are pretty fuckin good as it is, and ive noticed when rollin with a roach they burn faster, and thats never as much fun.

Finding roaches is a pain! The first 5 or so joints are fine just use the rizzla packet. But then I start using taxi cards, magazine covers, weetabix boxes etc!
