The high is too powerfull for the brain to handle everyday and the nerves in your brain that cause happiness become worn out. When someone quits smoking those nerves cannot register everyday happiness and thus the smoker becomes depressed. Weed alone will not make this happen, circumstanses in life will do it in combination.

One of the reasons weed makes ya feel so good is because it triggers the release of endorphins. You've only got so many, and if you smoke solid for around two weeks you won't feel as giddy or good as you did at the beginning.

bullshit. cannabis has never been shown to cause nerve damage. even the government studies oppose this view. some studies have even shown thc to cause neurogenesis, or the creation of new nerve cells in brain.

also bullshit. thc does not bind to endorphin receptors. it binds to cannabinoid receptors. the reason you dont feel as high after 2 weeks of binge smoking is because your body builds a tolerance to thc, not because you run out of endorphins.
