is this an onset?
is this an onset of flowering because in a book that i have gotten, "Cannabis Cultivation a complete growers guide- Mel Thomas" the 5th picture page after page 152 in the top right corner (if anyone has the book) but in there they say that this is the onset of flowering, i thought it was just another set of leaves emerging. which is it?

those are nodes..
they are not even alternating nodes..
Unless you are 12/12 light cycle.. it is very unlikley that your plant is shwing sex before the nodes begin to alternate.
There is no sign of sex from that picture (that I can tell)
Secondary growth would be nodes coming off of "those" nodes.
There is NO secondary growth in that picture...
And turtle your NOT a NEWBIE.. LOL
