I would ither use steks in the ground or another device to tie em to , tie your shit down so it's 1.5 ft from light man if 1000w then 1.8-2ft good distance remember light pentrates 3Ft into the green of plant. I used a Crutch once to tie em down to had it like a big cork sreew when i was done and clipping =) Hope that helps.

    How should you bend them...

Slowly, and easily. You can use whatever comes to your mind.

Twine/string. "Garden wire". etc. Just, attach a piece of wire to a branch, and pull it down easily. Let set for a couple of days, then re-tighten as needed.

Is this helping you out any?

You'll get the hang of it once you actually start doing it. Don't be scared man... try it out.

You can tie the weight to the plant (GREAT idea gK!!!  ) wherever you want. On the secondary growths ("medium size branch"), and/or on the main stem of the plant.

Again, just, look at your plant, see where you want to bend it... tie the string around the part of the plant (main stem, secondary growth's stem, etc.), and then tie the other end to something (or the weight).

ADJUSTMENTS: Yeah, you'll need to adjust your LSTing as time goes by. Nothing out of the ordinary, but here and there you're going to need to tune-up your bending.

Try it dude! That's the best way!

    Anything is possible.

Cheap way? Man, the Grower's Way!
Just, be creative... and search for stuff/ideas/keywords.

Try shit Weights , You could even trellis it like grape vines yeah sence your outdoor you wana go about 3ft from the ground and have it ben there you'll have max light pentration that way have it do a upside down L or a T and next it will try to grow up right again and face the sun then you can bend it down after another foot GL man.

PS: yeah man Green house owns if you wana try and start growing earlyewr and later into season cause you can start and stop durning colder times due to green house temps, theres cheep green house plastic waffle sheets for out doors can screw em together make a nice green house ( make shure you got air flow tho cause it will heat up if done right so a vent hole and or vent fan good idea....)

best thing i have done is trellising it like a grape vine seems to own for out door and higth mangement. i put 3' sticks into the ground and put string on top of it then when plant was about 1 ft over string i would vin it wround the string in about 2 week i got another 1.5 ft off the string and i contuin it down the string once the main steam is about 4 ' from the Root base in diamater then all the lower sprouts will start reciveing the roots main energy because there more directly stright up once they power grow 1.5 past the # pattern of strings i start trellising them to. what this does is when they bud the stem does not have to be as thick to suport the buds you get huge buds with less steams. normaly as the bud would gain weight it would sag over time and the stem would have to suport the buds weight and be active with the string you get bud buds suported by the string.
