You will have to grow in the location fo a season.. and you should probably keep a journal and mark down every time you water.. and how much water.. If you are near a stream or an underground water table(is that redundant?) then you need to water much much less...

Hopefully you will find a location that you can use year after year.. and really master the situation..

Obviously on HOTTER days you want to check on your plants...

as you plant gets bigger, It will either need more water...

or it will need less water because the roots will have gone deep enough to find there own moisture....
