a mugging in shoreline, and a toker too!
the other day, 4/20 I witnessed a mugging in the fred meyer parking lot.
it was about 11:30 at night
there is a cop station about a block away
but it took 15 minutes for a cop car to get there
they dispatcher on the 911 phone was asking so many questions that it took a long time. and in the meantime the mugger got in a car and drove away, with the victims backpack.
I saw the guy who was chased. he was running for his life!
but the mugger cuaght him and tackled him.
by then the mugger realized he better get out of there right away.
and he did.
so the cops come, and I tell em what I saw, even though I was nervous as hell becuase I had been working with my plants all day long and probably had like a half ounce in my pocket.
I haven't seen the victim on the bus the last few days I hope he is allright and didn't lose too much.
later on about midnite I was still waiting for my bus and the biggest police dog I ever saw ran across the street and sat down watching me.
I said HELLO OFFICER and tried not to act scared.
then the handler/cop ran up and talked to me some more about how sad that mugging was.
we don't have many muggings fortunately.
anyway
the next day
I'm sitting at the bus stop and observing the comuters as they drive home to their big houses in innis arden
oh, and I was probably toking on my pipe once in a while too.
well one of those soccer moms musta seen me toking and called on her cell phone to the cop shop aboust a block away.
then all of a sudden I see three cops walking up to me.
they tell me they got a report of me smoking a joint in public.
I calmly denied the charges and complied with there request to run my ID.
my ID still has my old address fortunately.
then they asked me, were you smoking a hand rolled cigarette or something?
again I said no, and they realized they didn't have shit on me to even begin a search.
and they left.
I tell you guys this story to let you know just where police priorities lie.
they'd rather catch a toker instead of a mugger!seattle420 Reviewed by seattle420 on . a mugging in shoreline, and a toker too! the other day, 4/20 I witnessed a mugging in the fred meyer parking lot. it was about 11:30 at night there is a cop station about a block away but it took 15 minutes for a cop car to get there they dispatcher on the 911 phone was asking so many questions that it took a long time. and in the meantime the mugger got in a car and drove away, with the victims backpack. Shoreline is a shithole IMO, its because seattle is a cancerous tumor and every year ghetto shit spreads out further and further from it. Aurora is where the hookers hang out....yuck
Sucks they had to put a krispy kreme doughnuts right where the hookers work. Ive seen hookers go in for free doughnuts so many times haha

otterpop, if you weren't looking out for hookers on aurora-
what would you be looking for?
seattle aint no cancerous tumor, the stupid drug war is.
got a problem with hookers?
ever wonderwhy they are out there on the street and not in their own homes?
it's because prostitution is illegal.
the cops took forever to come for the crime victim, probably because they were hanging out at krispy kreme

Hydro Bills hydroponics shop(dont remember the store name but the guys name is Bill) is on aurora (too bad, nice guy) as well as krispy kremes so theres 2 things i would be in aurora for
Seattle is a cancerous tumor, the drug war is on a different level. You know Seattle pigs do not harass you as bad for pot as other departments. Yes I do have a problem with hookers, who the fuck wouldnt. Its a drain on society and the area. You want your kids around hookers?? You want to have to drive past flocks of them at certain times of the year?? Its pathetic to see all these cars pulling over to give the hookers a holler. I guess we dont see eye to eye with prostitution but that doesnt suprise me. What part of seatown you live in?

I have no problem with prostitution.
it should be legal.
we drive past flocks of hokkers on the street because people gotta eat.
if it were legal it wouldn't be on the street, it would be in their homes and biznesses
and your not looking at the total picture.
the drug war is crazy because
prohibition does not work.
I live in the best part of seattle.

Maybe it should be legal, ive never had to go to a hooker so I cant really give a honest opinion on the legality of prostitution. Its not like you cant grab a issue of the stranger and hit up a call girl.
I agree with you that they are just doing it to make a living BUT they dont have to, its a cop out. Also I bet you alot of them are doing it to feed their habit among other things.
I see the total picture and prohibition doesnt work, it creates a more intricate problem. I personally wouldnt want to live directly in Seattle but the suburbs and outlying areas are great. Love the mountain views especially Mt rainier. The rain is seattles greatest downside....
My bashing of Seattle is more directed towards the people. The eastside is horrible unless you fit in with them.
