grav bong filter

ok so i constructed a grav bong outa the ol' 2 liter bottle, with a "ratchet" head ( i think thats waht they're called) stuck in teh bottle cap for a bowl. but i haven't done this in forever and i forget how i used to make a screen so the weed didn't pull through into the chamber! someone help!!!! i forget!!! im a noob!!

with a "ratchet" head you dont need a screen just put the weed in there it will stay. if you want you could make a screen out of tin foil.

well maybe this isn't a ratchet head then. one end is wider then the other but theres still a hole the whole way through

some rachet bits have smaller holes in them, and dont need a screen, like the one i have, for ones with larger holes you have to use a faucet screen to prevent all your weed from going into the bottle

Yeah most local headshops/tobacco shops/gas stations have pipe screens. Make sure you get the right size for your bowl and it should work out just fine.

make a ball of wire and drop it in there, or find a screen somehow. you could walk into a pet store, with siccorss, and snip off some of the screening for the top of those tanks.

I was actually having this problem about 30 minutes ago and found the perfect thing. Find a sink and you should be able to unscrew a piece at the end of the faucet with your hands. When you take it off there should be a circular metal screen that's perfect. I just made the biggest bowl (big enough to fit both my pinky fingers in) and I'm going to make a 3 liter waterfall bong... should be insane.

just use aluminum foil and poke holes in it...so much easier

ok no go and get a garbage bag tie or bread tie and get all the plastic or paper that wrapped on it off now it should be like a metal wire....roll that up inito a little ball like thing and theres your screen.

if its a ratchet head you probably don't need a screen. I dont use a screen on my grav/waterfall bong. Btw my rachet head is about 1/4 in.
