if its a ratchet head you probably don't need a screen. I dont use a screen on my grav/waterfall bong. Btw my rachet head is about 1/4 in.

He's talking about a bigger socket with a hole that will definitely let loose weed fall through..

Don't use aluminum foil though, that shit is awful for you. Never use aluminum foil to smoke. Just use one of the screens out of a faucet like i was talking about, it takes about 30 seconds to get it out.

thewanderer Reviewed by thewanderer on 04-28-2006. grav bong filter ok so i constructed a grav bong outa the ol' 2 liter bottle, with a "ratchet" head ( i think thats waht they're called) stuck in teh bottle cap for a bowl. but i haven't done this in forever and i forget how i used to make a screen so the weed didn't pull through into the chamber! someone help!!!! i forget!!! im a noob!! for some reason i really dont think that faucet screens are any good for you either; countless gallons of chemically infested tap water pass through them every day.

its definitely not as bad as aluminum foil, but i'm definitely not sold that it's a 'healthy alternative'
