im a newbe growing for first time my plant is about 18 ince tall in a 10 by 10 tube ive just started 12 12. is this the wright time because the white whiskers are showing but the plant is very bushy on top for leafs im using a 400w witch is about 17 ince from top of plant there's not much smell but i only started the proses 2 days ago am i being inpaient sorry no pics till i get cam. information would be great pics better. a newbe trying to keep the dream alive.......

i suppose a lot of this info will depend on what strain you are growing.
but 18 inches is ok for height. how many weeks old is it? is it in soil or water? is it sativa or indica?


after all those questions, i dont think your being impatient and the distance of your light sounds about right just give it time and dont over water them.
and try to post some pics.. i'm sure they will be fine..cannabis is a resilient plant/weed. my only criticism is that the pots they are in are too small.. my plants end up in pots about 2 feet wide and 2 feet deep. and i grow indoors.

im not sure what strain all how old it is it was given as a gifed but seems to be doing well. whens the average age of a plant when it sprouts its whiskers. so i can get a ruff idea and is the temp all wright at 28c 29c my ph is about 6.5 ... when do you start to notice a change in the plant and when do the buds start to change in to big mommers.... starting to get e-ger ...newbe trying to keep the dream alive....

temp sounds a bit hot. but i wouldnt worry too much.
ph is fine
you should be able to tell the sex by the second to third week of 12-12.
alot of the bud development can occur in the last weeks of flowering so be patient. and leave it alone......i know what you newbies are like, always pinchin buds off as soon as they appear. ya cant rush nature.. good luck.
