    Jock Horror SCROGG

    Peeps,

Second thread already and I'm getting the hang of it now. I ordered 24 seeds of Jock Horror strain from Nirvana seeds and got them today. I decided to show you people how I SCROGG a plant that has a 11 week bloom. I'll FIM the plants twice and when I'm satisfied about the plants size I'll put them into bloom.

The nutrient scematics I'm using this time is based on building the EC (PPM) slowly to a EC of 1.9/2.0. Last time with the powerplants I used a very agressive style of feeding the plants, wich resulted in a lack of chalk in the soil. But basicly I'm using the same nutrients as last time, wich are:

    Veg:

    Rhizotonic rootstimulator
    NO MERCY, CO² tablets
    AN, Voodoo Juice
    AN, Pirahna beneficial fungi
    Plagron BIO soil.

    Bloom:

    Canna Terra Flores
    NO MERCY, CO² tablets
    AN, Voodoo Juice
    AN, Pirahna beneficial fungi
    Canna Booster (PK-13-14)

The pic is an example of the Jock Horror strain.

Looks like this will be a nice thread. Cool strain. Keep a close eye on the plants though. As you know, this jock horror strain may respond differently to the nutes.

This is what 1.25 grams/Watt looks like using scrogg.

So I'm prepping for the next grow while the powerplant (pp) grow is still going good. I build myself a scroggnet al out of materials that can stand the humidity levels and such. The little clips you see in the second picture are for bending the plants on the wire so I can create a sea of green on the nets and the only thing getting enough light are the buds.

The lamp in the picture is are CFL light I brought home from work. I'm gonna use those for germinating the seeds.

SO, britewire, I must ask; I noticed that you are not using nutes in veg...Is that because of the Plagron BIO soil has all the nutes/minerals you need?
    Love your choice of additives...
I am going to check this thread out dude. Looking forward to seeing your results, and learning something.

Hey latewood (always enjoy reading your threads),

A lot of people make the mistake of overfeeding in VEG fase. The plant doesn't really need a whole lot of nutrients in that fase. The nutrients in good quality soil is enough for a 3/4 week veg (from clone).

So here's a short update on the preparations and planting of the Jock Horror seeds from Nirvana-shop.com.

I got myself some germinating tabs from our local garden shop and put the in water for about 10 minutes in PH6.2 water to expand. I'm not using any additives at germination cause they're to weak to process it in the next week or so. I put the tablets on a special seeding soil in the propagator, hood over it and the lights on top of that. I connected the lights too a timer witch is set on a 18/6 cycle.

    and finally, I've started!

I promise I wont get mad

Scrogg is when you place a wire above your plants when you put them in bloom. While on 12/12 the plants grows for another 2/3 weeks. During that time you tie the tops of the plant too the wire and it will grow again. YOu keep repeating this untill your 2/3 weeks are up or the screen is full. This means, when the buds are forming, all of your light will go too your buds. Advantage is that you make much better use of the light.
