I germinated the seeds directly in the peat pellets. I think it's bullshit too germinate upfront and THEN disturb the seeds again placing them in the peat pellets. If you place them in the pellets and get the pellets nice and wet at a constant temperature I found that the germination ratio's are best.

I use a PH value of 6.0/6.2 and a temperature between 24 and 29 degrees celcius. I give them 24/0 light and when the first signs of germination come about I give them 12 hours of rest. After that I set them on 18/6.

I got the best results like that. And that's by trail and error.

This time "another" 100% germination.

I ordered 24 seeds of Jock Horror strain from Nirvana seeds and got them today. I decided to show you people how I SCROGG a plant that has a 11 week bloom. I'll FIM the plants twice and when I'm satisfied about the plants size I'll put them into bloom. The nutrient scematics I'm using this time is based on building the EC (PPM) slowly to a EC of 1.9/2.0. Last time with the powerplants I used a very agressive style of Rating: 5

how do u plan on sexing them...finding out which are males and which are females....

I just keep vegging them till they're large enough and top them twice on 3 locations and then set them on 12/12. After 10 days of 12/12 it should be possible too recognise the males within the plants.

I'll remove the males and the weaker females, take the 9 best females out of they're devided space (pot). I get the deviders out of the bins and plant the strong females again. After that I'll put the scrogg over the plants and let them grow thru it during 12/12.

Then I'll keep tying the plants too the net untill they've stopped growing on 12/12.

After that it's a piece of cake if I can keep the temps in order

top job britewire.the thing that got me is when to stop tying to the screen .Do you have a sertian time when you stop tying or do you just go with the flow?The postman

Well.. you start tying too the screen when the top of the plants grew little more... it's just a matter of looking and understanding your plants.

You shouldn't ty the whole branche too the net in one go, just leave about 5 cm on top to grow too the light. whenever it grows a couple of cm's just ty again and come back every day too see if they're still growing.

Plants died cause of the extreme temps on my addic. I've started to build a new cabinet. It was the first time I grew in teh summer on this location (cause I've just moved here) but in the end I couldn't beat the sun shining on the roof. I put the surviving plants outside for an outdoor grow.

I'll start a new thread conserning the build of the new growroom. You've heard me, no more cabinets for an entire room exclusivly for growing.
