    germinated to many seeds

    ok so i germanated about 60 seeds and i only have room for 36 so i was wondering if there was a way to find out witch seeds r the best by doing something to them. i germaated them with the paper towel method. i was thinking maybe i could let them in that and see witch seeds servive longer or something? what does everyone else think?

    Well... Why germinate 60 and waste loads... Why didnt you measure up before hand.

    Just pick the ones with the best stems and leaves, otherwise you cant tell any differnce

    they were just bag seed seeds i have hundreds more plus last time i germinated only about half made it trhuogh thats why i did so many. can't realy give em to anyone cuase no one knows im growing. should i just through them in the woods some where and forget about em or what?

    i would say that would be a good idea, visit them every few weeks.

    Well, if you have the time, space, energy, and disposition, I think:

    1- Maybe you can start some seeds 12/12 right from the start. There's a thread about this recently.
    2- Maybe you can top one of them plants right on its 1st node... then another one on its 2nd node... etc
    3- Grow some of them in Miracle Grow!!! (<-- it's an experiment people!)
    4- hydro vs soil ? (complication)
    5- outdoors? (might come back to a nice surprise)

    ???

    i dont think that one will work..

    i say just put them in the woods and come back in like 2 months and see the nice surprise! :thumbsup:
