I'm not for sure but I think this is old news. I dont really care much for the kid or the drug because it's pretty just..dumb. If you let a drug lead you to the point in your life to where you think it's pointless and decide to take your own life your insane. And theres been more bad trips reported with salvia than good so why keep doin it? I think this drug should be banned and thought of as bad as PCP is thought of..Just because salvia is more of a novice drug doesnt mean it's safe.. that just means that there hasnt even been enough time to put into a deep research into the shit. No offence to you salvia abusers out there .

As I see it, salvia will intensify and alter whatever is in your head. This kid was dealing with depression and undoubtedly suicidal thoughts. Take salvia, innevitably it accentuated the mindstate he was already in and intensified it, as pretty much any hallucinogen will do. Even on a much tamer level, my sister (who deals with depression) won't smoke weed, not because she's against it but because it makes her depressed as hell. I think we should spend a lot less time legislating how we're going to punish people for controlling their own consciousness, and start educating people about the dangers of certain drugs when you have a mental disorder, as well as how to responsibly use each type of drug.

Once again, legal prescription drugs take their toll.

and you are fucking retarded, having a weak mind/body chemistry does have to do with it. some people can't handle LSD, some people can't even handle marijuana. some people believe everything they see/hear/read/whatever. if he believed the secrets of life were in there..its HIS OWN GOD DAMN FAULT. its all in the person. NO ONE forced him to do the salvia, its his own damn fault that he couldn't tell reality from a plant.

ive done salvia 20x many times. I find it quite enjoyable, and only had a bad trip my first time because I didn't know what to expect. Now I do it every couple weeks. its not the salvias fault.
