THATS SOME FREAKY SHIT ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE TRIED IT!! he really thought he knew the meaning to life and had killed him self. I HIGHLY SUGGEST LOOKING THIS STORY UP ON THE INET - PUT IN SALVIA SUICIDE!

my personal recommendation: dont try it. its a mind fuck and a half and you wont be the same. and its not at surprising about what that kid had done, you realise things about this life and yourself tht you never imagined!

I WOULDNT BE TO SURPRISED OR SADDENED IF THIS STUFF IS ILLEGAL SOON!
One kid kills himself on salvia, and you jump on the bandwagon to ban it? Alright, let's step back and address the situation a bit. People have done stupid thinks while under the influence of cannabis, too. Yeah, salvia can be a trip alright, but so can (reportedly) a few hours of sensory deprivation.

He was 17. Kids like attention. He found his egress, and chose to blame an outside source for his problems. The "Heaven's Gate" cult also thought they knew the meaning of life, and found the same fate as that kid through following their beliefs.

So your answer is to ban a mind-altering drug because it has caused a few people to do stupid things? Don't forget, marijuana was said to make "the darks think they were as good as white folk". Sure, maybe more attention should be paid to salvia, maybe the public should be more aware of its effects. However, I don't think prohibition is the answer, and I would imagine you hold similar views about similar plants.
