Why would a strain with such nearly-legendary potency such as Trainwreck be doomed, in your opinion, to face extinction in 20-30 years?

I can understand this facing land races such as shitty Mexican Schwag, or Ruderalis, but why some good weed like Trainwreck?

Saying that sounds like any high-potency weed is due for extinction. But, I don't get why you would say something like that. I mean, when was the last time you heard of a good quality, popular product just vanishing?

All a HAZE is, is a sativa usually mixed in with an indica...for example, Silver Haze is like 90 percent sativa, with only a 10% touch of Northern Lights.

Purple Haze is the same thing..its a Purple strain mixed in with some kinda sativa strain...why would this be so hard? It fuckin does exist..are you kidding me..there thousands of different kinds.

it exists, i did it the last time i smoked with my two friends, one of them got it from another friend whose dad needs it for medical purposes. i only took two hits and lasted me a good four hours and i was pretty fucked. the thing smelled vicious too

exactly... which brings me to a new question, if you so easily believe that just because the weed is purple, and the dealer says its purple haze, why all the controversy, and alll this shit? instead of asking for purple haze, just call it purple... if everyone just said 'i just got some purple from my dealer' instead of 'i just got some purple haze from my dealer' there would be fewer fights/arguments/debates on whether it's real or not... if you didn't grow it yourself, from a seed (and even then, you still dont' really know) then you can't possibly know if it's really purple haze, or if it's just some purple strain, given the name to net more profits.

Why call it Trainwreck, White Widow, or Northern Lights? Why not just call it green? I'm not arguing with ya, the logic of "%90 chance what your smoking is some other purple strain that a dealer claims is purple haze to get more money" can apply to any strain. Think about it "hey man, I got some White Widow, yeah it costs more but its worth it". Seriously, I'd bet that a huge portion of what's sold on the street as one specific strain or another isn't what it's claimed to be.

I would, however, trust an Amsterdam coffee shop or a San Francisco cannabis club. Some place operating legally with a bunch of different strains set out and labled accordingly. If the question is "does Purple Haze exist?" I would have to say "yes" based on the fact that I know many of the cannabis clubs do sell a strain called Purple Haze. They also sell other purple strains right along side it. Why label one Puple Kush, another Purple Erkal, another Grandaddy Purple, and another Purple Haze if they're just trying to rip you off? Doesn't make sense.
