elcheapo Reviewed by elcheapo on . styrofoam Has anyone grown in styrofoam? I'm running a little experiment. I'm growing a waterlily in a styrofoam container with a 130 gph pump. I don't expect any mosquitos to lay their eggs in the container. The reason I believe this is the styrofoam leaches something in the water that mosquitos don't like. After a rain I noticed the containers that were not styrofoam had mosquito larvae and the ones that were styrofoam did not. Anyone else try this? If this is true we could use Rating: 5
