The european method is to mix hash in with tobacco this is nice if you smoke tobacco but if you don't I wouldn't. You can mix it with bud if you like although it is more efficent using a bong or pipe.
Hot knifing is where you heat two knives up on a stove till the ends are red hot. You then get a small bit of hash you have prepared earlier and dab a hot bit of a knife on it. press the other hot knife onto it (think of a hash sandwich) and inhale the smoke using a funnel or something. Is much easier with two people.
A high from good hash often seems cleaner to me and is often more of a heady trippy high. Depends on what strain the hash was made from though if it is a 100% indica expect a big body stone! Is good shit!

So hot knifing is the way to go? I've never smoked tobacco in my life and don't plan to... How much has should i use while hot knifing? And can I just put a lump of hash in my pipe and smoke it?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just looking foward to it and want to make sure I'm doing everything right.

You need maybee a small pea sized bit. You usually just break a bit off and then tare it into smaller peices like if you were preparing bud and then put in your pipe. A good general test of how good your hash is how easy it is to break peices off. With shit hash you need to roast the fuck out of it with a lighter to soften it. With really good hash you just need a bit of body heat i.e. just hold it in your hands. to break peices off.

yea, just smoke it like resin if u smoke your resin, and use only the tinyest amount when doing knifers like maybe a ball about the size of the "*" on the key borad, not the actual key, but the mark on your key bord, fyi its directly above the 9 on the number keys on the other side of the arrow keys or on the 8 bottun abover were u are typing at
