The other day while I was training to get open water certification I was thinking to myself that diving would be much more interesting high (as are most things). Anyways, I will probably never do it because it is most likely a horrible idea. I was just wondering if anyone has ever SCUBA dove while they were high or if anyone knows about complications that could arise. Well anyways thanks.

I used to scuba dive back when I was younger and lived in Florida. I used to love to get really high, suit up, and lay down at the bottom of the pool. It was such an awesome feeling, being weightless with just the sound of your breathing.

I never actually did any dives when high though. Don't think I would try it. I don't think there would be any weird weed/depth interaction. Especially if you stuck with a shallow dive under 50' or so. I'd be more worried about spacing out and doing something stupid. It's one thing to be stupid and goofy walking down the street, but one small mistake while diving could kill you. Then again, you could say the same thing about rock climbing and I've gotten high hundreds of time doing that.

yeah it probally would i have never been diving befour so that would be an experience in its self for me but to do it stoned just diving and going thru the coral reefs looking at all them nicly coloured fish

I've thought of the same thing... being underwater around fish and stuff with nothing but silence would be awesome high.. I don't go diving or anything but I've definitely wanted to do it high or at least do something similar.

it is a no no no, unless you want to kill yourself, you should not dive after consumption of alcohol or mj

yea ive decided its probably better not to, it would be so much fun tho i guess its just one of those things that will never happen

I've been snorkelling high, which is amazing, maybe give that a go instead? I know it's not the same but at least you'll def be safe.

The best is if you happen to be near a coral reef or something
I've done it on the great barrier reef and in thailand
you start to feel like a fish after a while.
I chose a massive rainbow fish and followed it around for hours
to see what fishes do with their days...
...not much i discovered.

i was emmbaressed for sugesting snorkelling at first, but fook it, I think snorkeling's cool. It's good to swim across the foreshaw with a snorkle on when your're high too. You can just concentrate on your stroke and forget the breathing for a while.

Did you know I wanted to invent an underwater ipod for ages and now someone's bet me to it?...damn...

dude snorkeling is sweet but if it was that cool high I bet scuba would be a ton better oh well
