If I were to set up a heat lamp above my freshly planted seed, would it emit a smell before it's big enough to plant outside?

Also, what's the minimum size you guys recommend before transplanting outside?

First, Unless it is the dankiest dank then you won't smell much of anything. But don't let it get too hot... And the minimum size to plant outside would be about 3 or 4 inches... Make sure its established and can take to outside heat. When you first put it outside put it in the shade and give it more sun as it can handle it. Growing inside makes your plants pussies and you have to harden them off to the outdoors.
