Grow box design, opinions/suggestions needed

This is my first actual grow box, although I have grown before, It was in a space in which I did not need a box. Anyway Im just looking for opinions and suggestions on ways to improve it.

Are you going to grow clones, or always from seed?

If you're going to grow clones, I would suggest you divide the box horizontally, instead of vertically. That way, you can have a smaller vegetative chamber (like, 12" tall) and then your flower chamber could be 36" tall...

Or if you're growing from seed, then yes... vertically would be better, in my opinion. You can veg them to height, then change them over to the flowering side.

i was going to start from seeds but then clone once i got some good females growing.

use about 18" or less of space above your veg side, for a compartment for a carbon srubber setup and or a remote ballast, if you intend to go hid

I have designed a different cabinet that will better suit my needs. The top will be for flowering, and the bottom for veg.

I will be using cfls for now, but I will be upgrading to either a hps or lps after my first harvest
