Hi Tok
MH stands for metal hilade. Its great for the veg stage of MJ plants.
I use MH for seed/veg then go to HPS(High Pressure Sodium) for flowering.

Ok Tok let me say it like this your lights arent bad if you use about 7-8 of them.
The reason is if you just have 1 at 2700 lumens then you will only be getting about 1200 lumens on your plant if that and the rest will be lost.
You will need to spread 7-8 42w 2700 lumen bulbs around your plants.
The good thing is they dont get very hot so you can put em pretty damn close to your mommas.
With 7-8 of them I would say you can grow 2-3 plants with great results.

HOW DO YOU GUYS FEEL ABOUT... 1) Using miracle grow potting mix with continuous realease plant food? 2) Using a 2,700 lumen (42 watt) CFL-like bulb (does not label itself as CFL on package but is similar to other CFL's) for 1 sq.ft. of coverage? I have checked the FAQ's for answers to these questions. Rating: 5
