newb with some questions

Well i dont have any lights yet im going to buy them soon i just want to know what to buy first, if i only use HPS for the whole thing im going to do, 24/7 and flower 12/12. If i buy CPL what should i get and how many?

Ideally, you would buy a MH for veggetative, and a HPS for flowering.

If you're going to use CFLs, buy the highest wattage you find, and as many as possible. The more, the merrier.

turtle420 Reviewed by turtle420 on 04-23-2006. newb with some questions Ok i would like to start a grow my cabinent will be 3'6''h x 20''d x 20''w using a 400 watt HPS growing 4-6 plants at a time. The questions i have is can i use the HPS light threw the whole grow and get the same yeild if i would of used a CFL for vegging and HPS for flowering? Is mylar very effective compared to white paint? Can i water the plants with tap water or should i use a water with the proper PH level? Is 2 intake fans, one blowing on the plants and one blowing on the light, Rating: 5
