They sell very cheap water PH test kits at the Hydro store... 3-12 dollars
You can also get a test kit from Home Depot in there pool supply section.

Are you over watering? Are you letting your soil dry out before you water?

I was using Miracle Grow before they added that extra crap to feed for 3 months and I was getting wonderful results. Now I'm using Fox Farms organic soil mix with bat gauno and worm castings. My results are crap compared to the size and quality when I was using the old Miracle Grow. I have added hydrated lime to raise the ph to about 6.8 and added a good amount of perlite. My seeds germinate fine but after about a week the stalks are a Rating: 5
