First grow, All CFL, bagseed harvest...
Hey guys, Today I chopped one of my girls. She was at exactly 8 weeks today. She was grown with 7 CFL's 42 watts each and was fed Fox Farm ferts. Here are some pics, sorry about the quality. I have a horrible camera.
Also, I'd like to thank some people on this forum. Knowm, HARDON and a few others that helped me out tremendously. I do not think my grow would have turned out this good if it were not for your guys help and advice. Thank you :rasta:
Also, Knowm, I think I seen you mention you were looking for pics of CFL grows. Well here you go

Couple more pics... And two pics of my girls during the grow. The one on the left is the one harvested today. The other one is 2 - 3 weeks behind.

great job! some people say you can't flower with cfls! i say they don' know shit! make sure you post the yeild when it's dry. i'm curious what 294watts of cfl can produce. i used to get 4-5 oz from my 350watt cfl cab.

yeah i'm looking forward to what i'll be having, nothign big i knwo but still, is that 8 weeks of flowering or 8 weeks from germination? also how many plants total? i havn't added any ferts just whats in the soil i forget what kind actually but it's the slow release kind do you feel you did anythign EXTRA that made your grow that much better? asking just so i can change what i do in the future and maybe any CFL growers starting out

i would recommend staying away from preferted soil, especially slow release stuff. seedlings can be burned easily in it and also if you are adding ferts and after a few weeks the slow release is still there you can have alot of ph problems if you are not careful, although adding some lime when mixing the soil would help. to make it much simpler i would recommend using a product like promix bx or sunshine mix. you will need to add 1-2 tbsp dolimite lime per gal of soil(less)mix to these as well as both are peat based mixes which are too acidic for mj by themself. if you use a soil or soiless mix with no added ferts then you can be sure what you are giving your plants. another plus is that plants given ferts early in life are more likely to be male and if you use promix or sunshine mix you can be sure they don't get anything but h2o for the 1st 2-3 weeks increasing you chances of getting females. hope this helps to give you ideas for future grows. i would be glad to offer any assistance i can in the future, just ask if you need anything.

thanks for that insite and future offer, well acually i switched the soil after they were about 6" and about a month or so in, i originally used soil from the PA area that was naturally rich in nutrients, good thing to knwo though cause i was thinking it would jst be easier to get this stuff from the beginnign but now i knwo it's not
Good piece of info
