Fighter Jets intercept United Airlines Flight, No Drills to Confuse NORAD this time

^^ dude, American Airlines stopped all their planes on the ground, as did United Airlines (in the 9/11 Commission Report).... you cannot say that it was a different mentality pre-9/11... there are procedures and they were not followed...
think about how stupid this sounds: America, the only superpower, didn't send fighter jets to intercept KNOWN (in the commission report) 4 hijacked flights AND they knew all of them were EXTERMELY off course... i could see that happening in Madagascar... but nope, not the good 'ol USA.

I agree the ball was dropped at the time but it was also due to inflated ego's in my opinion. After all, who would have the balls, or be stupid enough, to do something like that to the U.S. in the states?
