It doesnt smell too bad. I did it in my house and no one even knew. I think a dish washer might be too hot for a glass pipe just be careful it doesnt crack.

I did the boiling water thing and ran it through coffie filter, but i don't think it was resin. The pipe was still dity and i looked through the hole where you inhale the smoke and theres still a shit load of resin in there, so right now im just trying to get a flame in there for hits. The thing is, im using a zippo lighter, and i can feel something and it feels as if im having a hit and that i am inhaling feels normal ect, but no smoke comes out, is this the zippo lighter fuel and should i stop doing this? im startin to feel pretty funky but i don't know if its because of the zipppo lighter... kinda worrying

sweet! how long will a 1/2 oz last you? i suggest to clean you pipe you just scrape the bowl take as many resin hits as you can then put the pipe in a zip lock baggie and pour some rubbing alcohol in with it, shake it around, and it will come clean! i also put some salt in with it and heat the alcohol mixture in the microwave for like 4 - 5 seconds to warm it up! but give it a try and youll see how it works and figure it out! your pipe will be new again!

yeah, i got this stuff called "420 fluid" all it was, was Rubbing Alchohal and salt mixture. like what goober said. and it left my OLD DIRTY bong with PETREFIED RESIN from in it CLEAN. and this bong hasent been scraped since about 1983 when my DAD bought it. i was just a little twit in his twat then, wasent even born.

Man, im so fucking wasted. Drank 3 beers, downed 2 of them in seconds, had a lil comp with 3 sheets and we both downed a whole beer on our webcams, i won downed the whole thing almost and only had a mouthfull left, he cud only down half of it before he had to stop yay, hehe. and iv also been hittin the pipe, no smoke blew out but i think its done a lil something hehe :thumbsup:
