CAIRO, April 24 (Reuters) - The death toll from blasts at the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Dahab on Monday has risen to 30, rescue officials in Sinai said.

The officials, who asked not to be named, said the number of wounded was more than 100. But Said Issa, the director of rescue services in South Sinai province, said the number of wounded was 160, with some in critical condition.

Yeh..........I saw that on the BBC news channel.......and even though many had been killed it was almost given a light hearted aspect with the phrase "Thankfuly it doesn't look like suicide bombers and may not be the work of Al qeuda"

I dont think the dead and wounded give a monkeys about who did it.

Back to Falun Gong, I have seen many reports about them..........The medication one is scary.....Bi-Polar and other people being told not to take medicines.....Im sure but not 100% that even insulin use by diabitics is frowned on.

I dont likethe oppresation of free speech wether a goverment does it to its people or a cult does it to there members

    Peace rips

I'd certainly agree about the media's anti-chinese slant....im from the uk but spent 3 yrs over in japan - so i'd watch a lot of CNN (and fox occasionally for a laugh...) it would always amaze me how negative the coverage was....you'd always have some right wing biggot like lou dobbs banging on about how china was "stealing" US jobs and US technology (when he'd finished his one man immigration campaign...) You got the impression that he couldnt believe the sheer audacity of China in challenging the US world hegemony.....like it was some US divine right to be the only global superpower....it seems like some sections of the media are out to demonise china in order to bolster a US protectionist agenda.....The US media's scary - makes you appreciate the BBC!

were u teaching English in China? I was teaching in Japan.....anyone who's interested do it! program called JET - good money, great people, fantastic country
