spiking up hair...

okay, i just got a mohawk done by my friends, and ive been trying to find a way to spike it up. does anyone have sugestions for somethign that works? i tried this stuff called "got 2 b spiked" and that didnt work. i tried elemers glue, and that didnt work either, but maybe i didnt use enough.

how long is your hair? I used to have a 12 inch mohawk back in my street punk days hehe, i used elmers glue worked perfectly, mix some hair spray into it. Also try knox gelatin it is the best, will hold for several days.

got 2 be is what i used to use, it wasn't that great... find citre (it has the e with the little dash over it) shine, that shit will hold anything...

oh thanks man, yea im probly just not using enough glue. mines only about 6,7, maybe 8 inches now but im letting it grow:thumbsup:

oh, hey, one more question, did the elmers glue make your hair die and fall out eventually?

use the 'clear' glue too, the kind thats kinda in a blue bottle or whatever... if you use the white glue it will look like someone blew their load in your hair hehe

haha oh thanks for the headsup......... although i do have blonde hair so that should help disguise the whiteness for now ( all i have is the white shit.)

sorry to kep piling up the questions lol, but when you put the glue in, did it just stick up? or did you have to hang your head upside down and wait for it to dry or something.

dunno about real glue, but the hair glue i use, you rub it in really good, start fucking with your hair, after about 3-4 mins it starts getting realllllly sticky, about a min or two after that and it's stuck in whatever position you stuck it in ....

i made liberty spikes most of the time so i dont have to worry about fanning it out which can be a pain in the ass alot. Its good to do a small area at a time, apply the glue, more to the bottom, much less at the top so it doesnt weight it down. Apply the glue put your head down and take a hair dryer and pull it down and have the dryer on it. the longer you do that the more affective it is.

It also helps tremendously for someone to help you. get a girl they love playing with hair haha
