CPH,,,I would definitely rent the DR, get a good load on and sit back and enjoy. The movie didn't make me think about myself, but rather what must go through a persons mind that would enable him to write such a script. Mind you, it was written by Rob Zombie, so that pretty much speaks for itself. It was a sequel, and unfortunately I watched it first. The first one, House of 1000 Corpses, paled in comparison. But yeah, Saturday night, load yourself up with a large buzz and see what you think. Fantastic in the dark on a big screen. WOW!

Hey PureEvil,,,,Devil's Rejects is disturbing enough to watch completely straight. I couldn't imagine what the effects it would have watching it stoned. I have not seen to many movies that have made me think, "Man, the writers of this movie have some serious issues to deal with" since all the slasher/horror flicks are all in the same realm as B rated shows. But I must admit, DR has got to be one of the most inner thought provoking movies I have ever seen. I even added it to my small but "specialized" collection of DVD's. Keep up the good work Mr. Zombie!

I'd have to say, The Neverending Story, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal all are wonderful when high, basically any movie that has wierd Henson-type puppets as characters. I can't believe nobody's mentioned any of these yet.

Any of the Star Wars are good while dill, especially the originals. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is also good, so is the old 1970's movie Flash Gordon. Any old Japanese fighting movie.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy is a great movie while stoned... it's all weird and shit.

For me, I prefer to watch concerts/live DVDs of music and shit.. or just regular music videos. My favorite is Pink Floyd's "Live In Pompeii", followed closely by Nine Inch Nails, "And All That Could Have Been" DVD. If you've never seen Live In Pompeii, you are fucking missing out big time. :thumbsup:

I can't follow movies too well when I'm stoned, but I can definately get into the music. :rasta:

Requiem for a dream is a fantastic movie its a very fucked up movie but I like fucked up occasionally! The Score is really good as well I heard a dance remix of it a few years ago in a club while absolutely off my tits which was good.
