i would say it is if its stuck down with tape in the corners

just make sure it's pulled tight and secured at all the edges and you should'nt have a prob.

I have the 2mil Mylar, not even tight, makes no noise ... :smokin:

i had the 1mill stuff and never noticed a sound. i had it pulled real tight though. the smoother you can get it the better light reflection you will get. if its all crumply and loose it won't reflect the light back as well.

Lol I had to read the thread just because of the title.
They make adhesive tape thats sticky on both sides its like 4 bucks for a 50ft roll and if you use it right it wont make a sound, but it will whisper bigger better buds lol...

Oh I recommend 2mil thick mylar the 1 mil is a bitch to work with.
You should also cut your roll into workable squares.
To big of piece will be a bitch to hang correctly.
After finishing you should wipe it off with some murphy oil soap.
Check E-Bay and check around for prices they will VARY GREATLY!!!
I got a 4.5X50 roll 2mill thick for 31 bucks 9 bucks shipping for a total of 40 bucks less than a mth ago.
How big of an area are you doing?
