I grow soil and have tried many light methods so here is my personal info.
Running on 12/12 from start to finish will cause your plants to stretch and your buds to be small, not very compact and the buzz will be a lower grade buzz if you dont run a fan most of the time the plant wont hold much buds until it falls over or breaks off stringing the plants up is a must.
Running on 18/6 will make your plants shorter, fatter, stronger and much healthier.
Your stalk will be much bigger your branches will be bigger your buds will be big and compact and the high will be better plus you will get a bigger yield rather than on a 12/12 cycle.
Running 24/0 doesnt improve the yield or the plant enough for me to run my ballast that much.
In growing you want to be economical and do what works with the best results.
Dont get me wrong 12/12 wont be bad from anyones point of view however 18/6 for 4-5 weeks then 12/12 till harvest is for optimal results.

18/6 compared to 12/12 you wont even notice on a light bill(FACT)
12/12 compared to 18/6 Yield is lower on 12/12 from start to finish buds are smaller plants are smaller smoke isnt as good.
18/6 improves yield, bud size, plant size, health and the smoke is better.
Tests have been done and reports given.
Yes the pic looks good but the sad fact is I dont think its from a 12/12 to start from finish.
