Yeah, the pistilles do nothing. Dont worry about them, they are not important. The only thing that is important is the trichs, cos when they are cloudy/amber that is when THC is a maximum and that is when the flowering is over... So it was the right answer.
LIP Reviewed by LIP on . pestils at 5 weeks Okay, if someone were growing and the pestils were just starting to turn amber after the 5th week of flowering. Does this mean the buds are done growing? Or will they continue to increase in size? Can one expect that the plant is now turning to THC production? Or will it still build bud size? I know pestils are not the way to judge for harvest time, but they must mean something. This person is keeping their eye on the trichs, still all clear. Rating: 5
