The most dangerous thing I do is rock climb, which I could do when I was older. I'd like that retirement age, because I could just chill and die in my rocking chair smoking a blunt. I don't like skateboaring a snowboarding or anything, so I guess that's just me.

when i was 16, i couldn't imagine getting old and settling down. now, 15 years later, i'm looking forward to my wedding in october and starting a family. i'm in school for massage therapy and am ready to make a go at a new career that will allow me to buy a home for my family and provide for them.
don't get me wrong, i'm still gonna backpack, hang w/ my peeps, blaze, and travel. it just seems that as you get older, you come to appreciate the things you rebelled against as a kid.
hell, the surviving members of the sex pistols are signing a multi-million dollar corporate deal soon. if you told johnny rotten twenty years ago that he'd be filing his taxes and investing his money, he'd of spit in your face.
there's a reason people are crazy when they're kids and less so as they age.

mick jagger once went on about "what a drag it is getting old" and not much older than you guys at the time...i'm sure he sings a different tune now!
the older you get the more the world opens up and getting physical doesn't have to end at middle age or older...many old guys are running around doing more than most here! ya just gotta be lucky enough to get through youth without getting too fucked up...

Other recommendations: save your money, make smart investments, and don't buy a house or live too extravagantly. Eat right, and get exercise, also.
If you play your cards right, you could retire in your 50's and have the exact life that you have now. 60 is the new 30. 80 is becoming the new 40 and, eventually, 160 will be the new 80!

i wouldn't believe it when i was your age, but i'll say it anyway: life gets better the older you get.
