My friend brings this up all the time. It is false, though. Scientists have measured the wave-lengths of the colors we see and have proven that we are all viewing the same shades of color. So, science has already proven that we are all looking at the same thing.

Also, the colors that go together wouldn't work any more. Anyone who has taking an art class knows that purple and yellow match, green and red match, black and white match, and orange and blue match. If my blue was your purple, then suddenyl "blue and orange" would NOT look good to you.

"Dont you think blue and orange go together real well?" (notice how a lot of bill-boards and adverts use that color scheme... it's appealing to the eye)

"what the fuck? no. they look wack as fuck"

The reason no one says that, is because were infact all seeing the same thing.
