Keep in mind that whatever video or documentay you see that says the proper steps weren't taken to insure safety, doesn't mean that Bush planned the damn thing. Because when you go down that road you are basically saying that Bush came to a decision to fake a terrorist attack and kill thousands of people. That means he went over in his head "I'm going to kill thousands of people with radio-controlled planes, blame it on terrorists, and sit back and absorb the hatred that Americans are about to have for me." You mean to tell me that's what happened? That's fucking proposterous. I agree the guy is not suitable or smart enough for the position of President of the United States, but to say he murdered thousands so that he can get a hold of the oil (keep in mind most of us probably wont even be using the shit before long because of the prices) and risk being caught and tried for terrorism himself? You think his ENTIRE administration would go along with it? Even if they say he is guilty of neglect that doesn't mean he helped. Sure, he knew something might go down from what his advisors were telling him, but he never opened the damn envelope in the first place. It's not like he read the report and then did nothing, he never read the shit in the first place that is neglect, not a plot. Most people who think the Bush administration is responsible for this did it so that they could blame it on Iraq so they could go to war and get the oil. But they had to know the prices would rise and they had to know we would eventually be using hybrids and shit anyway. I keep saying it doesn't seem worth it and it doesn't. I could see a massive cover-up on a scale this big if there was something to gain, but what the hell has Bush gained? His people hate him, he'll probably secure a very unrespected place in our future history books, and he'll be out of the office in 2 years, and will have no more "evil powers". You think he did this shit so he could have the world hate him for the rest of his term and probably disrespect him for the rest of his life?
