Interesting turn of events...

Hello all... This is my first post so I hope everyone enjoys.

First off, let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm a guy from Indiana, who lives in a moderately-sized town.(pop. about 60,000). It is a town that to many, may seem small. But I have had my share of crazy experiences here. I just turned 21 a little while back. I've been smoking pot(and yes, I do call it pot.) since age 14. Everyday since about 16. I have done every drug under the sun at least a few times. I am also "well traveled". I have been to Canada,and Jamaica. So I am comfortable in saying I have smoked some of the best pot and hash this world has to offer. Enough of the introduction, here is my most recent story.
I have a friend who is in a pretty popular band around here. I am also a musician and have jammed with this guy periodically for years. His band was playing a show at a popular club in town last Friday. I had just gotten paid after a long week of work and had a couple days off to blow off some steam. So, I decide to go and catch the show. I arrive shortly after the first of three one-hours sets they were going to do that night. Immediately I was beckoned to the band's bus.(an old school bus used to haul equipment.) We proceeded to smoke two very fat joints. Immediately I could tell this weed was something special. Later I was told it was a strain called "aghani", grown by this eccentric fellow that lives out in the boondocks.
We wander back in to the bar and the band begins the second set. Another friend of mine handed me two pills. When I looked at them, I immediately knew that they were percocet. Twenty minutes later, I was floating off in my own little world, listening to the good music, talking with friends and girls that I hadn't seen in years. It was a beautiful environment.
The band finishes it's set. I look up, my friend is on the microphone telling the crowd that he was bringing up a friend to play during the 45-minute break. I then heard my name blarring through the PA. Within seconds, I am up on the stage holding a very nice washburn accoustic guitar. I am all alone... Everyone is looking at me expectingly... Needless to say, for the moment I am a bit nervous, but very brave due to the drinks, pot, pills...
I hear music start to play. Then I realise that it's me. For forty-five minutes, I sang and played my heart out. Although it was a very different sound than the band the crowd had come to see, they absolutely loved it. I got in to a zone where I couldn't miss a note, and I played songs that I thought they "needed to hear". It is very hard to explain the energy that was in the room. For the first time in my life, I felt everyone in the room was on the same page..
I am by nature, a shy person. Not on that night. After I finished I spent the rest of the night, in to the wee hours of the morning, smoking that kind weed, and having meaningful conversations with enlightened people. I also had the priviledge of going home with a girl that is way out of my league normally.(heh heh)
