 Thanks to all who have responded. I wanted to get more clear on what I have done thus far. I have taken a clean sterile plate and took two paper towels folded and then put the seeds on top-cover with two more paper towels and wet the towels with distilled h20(room temp not cold). Then cover with another plate. I checked every day and only moisten with room temp distilled h2o when the paper towels began to dry out. After two weeks the seeds never opened and a tap root never came out. I may need some clarification on what the root looks like because I thought after 3-4 days I saw a white gel looking substance on the side but when I picked it up with tweezers and looked under a magnifying glass it was just discoloration.

I then tried the 16oz cups with soil and put the seed in a hole about 5cm made by a pencil- covered loosely with soil. I covered the cups with plastic wrap and again two weeks and nothing.
I then tried it again but this time put it under a 430 HPS lamp- I thought if I could try and recreate the natural put seed in ground ,water and the sun will do the rest I could get it to work. Again nothing.

I have had success with seeds in the past. But the seeds were given to me by friends and from shake.

This is the first time I have used seeds from a seed bank. Thats why I was wondering if anyone else has had success using the same seed bank I used.

Thanks and HAPPY 420 DAY!
kind67 Reviewed by kind67 on . Problem with germination :( I have been trying to get a new crop started and was curious as to what I am doing wrong? I purchased two strains of seeds from THC seeds of Vancouver and have not been able to get any of them to germinate. I tried paper towels, putting in h20 and wait for the sprout, and even just putting in dirt under the ole lamp. NADA -Nothing. The strains are White Crystal and Amsterdam bubble gum. I have a few seeds left and need some help. Any one have any same experiences? Rating: 5
