gotta disagree with you. you can tell a street person, kinda sense it. im white and dreadlocked but i aint from no suburb. matter fact theres this jamaican dude that lives round my way. he seen my one day skateboarding, i got the locks with the big beard and he started pointin to me like sayin "yea thats right" without sayin it. now he says whats up to me all the time. so i dont think they get pissed off, i think they dig it. your friend probably did some other shit to piss em off.
