Right, so the purpose of this thread was to try and get some varying perspectives from some of you guys.

Here goes... My birthday is on the 23rd and my mom and her boyfriend of a couple years had arranged for me to be introduced to weed for the first time (or so they think). I'm not sure how often they smoke especially my mom, I think she just wants to be there so they see how I react to the high. They are saying this will gain trust and they will allow me to smoke without worry around the house from then on, depending on how school/life goes upon consumption...

I thought I had everything planned, which was to tell them on that day that I had previously smoked before. Somehow many months ago I thought this was a grand idea. Now I'm really starting to doubt how this honesty will go over. As of right now I plan to act as if this is indeed my first time smoking.

I imagine I'm thinking way to much into this but I wonder if I should tell them or do you think this one of those things best kept a secret?

hmmmm, i think you should be honest with them man. Then by telling them the truth your showing that your a trust worthy person and your not keeping any lie's from them.

Well not telling them really isn't lying is it? If they don't ask don't say anything.

Roll the joint as expertly as possible (maybe with your own band new papers bought just for the occasion, suggest cinnamon or candy cane juicy jays for style) be chill when you are high and let them make their own conclusions.
